The Wise Woman Builds Her Home {Home, Part 1}

As I walked up the street with our mail, I noticed how two fall trees beautifully frame our home. It reminded me of this series of posts I wrote a couple years ago. Because I am passionate about creating a home that is intentional, authentic, and Christ-centered, I want to share them again!

God Works Over Time (Be Patient!)

I have been thinking about patience and perseverance, with the fall crops being harvested and as verse from James 5 keeps coming to mind.

In my life, there are things I am praying and waiting for over time and the answers don’t seem to come quickly. Are you experiencing this in your life in some way, too?

Put On Love

While one scarf can be pretty and warm, we aren’t meant to wrap ourselves in a bunch of them! If we try this, we’ll find that it quickly becomes difficult to keep them on, much less move in them.

In my last post, we talked about how we tend to wrap ourselves in relationships, abilities, position, and possessions to know who we are and be known by other people.

We Become What We Worship

Countless people have come to Jesus and worshiped him since his birth just over 2,000 years ago, beginning with the shepherds and wise men.

This morning, I read a part of  Psalm 135 that felt as though I’ve never read before, with a new thought on what it means to worship Jesus. I love how Scripture comes to life as we read it again over time! Join me in reading it:
