This little tin of cookie cutters belonged to my namesake, great-grandmother Kathryn. A few of her kitchen gadgets have been passed down to me, and now find a home in my kitchen pantry. One cookie cutter is missing in this set, but originally each differently shaped piece was designed to fit together perfectly within this tin.

I had a mint plant in a pot on my back porch last summer. It smelled so nice and added a pretty bit of green between two chairs! But it had grown out, becoming stringy and deadish in places. So I trimmed it back to give it new energy to grow.

Fear in the Night
Have you ever noticed that fear comes alive in the middle of the night? When I wake up at 2 a.m. my thoughts more easily spin out of control and my fears become bigger and more believable. It’s a struggle to get back to sleep.
